Welcome to Martin Luther Church
Martin Luther Church, as a congregation, welcomes and celebrates the richness and diversity of all God’s people, regardless of where they’ve come from or where they are in their life’s journey. Therefore, we follow the teaching of 2 Corinthians 5:18: “All this is from God who reconciled us through Jesus Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.”

We believe that the good news of Jesus Christ is to be shared by all people without regard to age, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or physical or mental abilities. All are welcome as members of the Body of Christ as workers in the kingdom of God, and at the table of our Lord.

Holy Week Worship
Holy Week is April 13-20 this year. The series of worship services take us through the Passion story of Jesus, from the Last Supper, through the crucifixion and to the empty tomb. The rich traditions of these have been celebrated for centuries.

Maundy Thursday, April 17, at 7:00 p.m. (Meal begins at 5:30 p.m.)
"Maundy" is short for the Latin word for "command" (or "mandate") and this day we remember Christ's command to love one another. We practice that love in sharing a meal as a community and offering the washing of feet during worship.

Good Friday, April 18, at 10:00 a.m. Kid's Camp
On Good Friday we remember the crucifixion of Jesus and how God's love is greater than our rebellion. In the morning, we will have children's activities from ten to noon. Our evening worship features the stories of those who witnessed the events and the reading of Psalms in a powerful service

Good Friday, April 18, at 7:00 p.m.
Jesus' crucifixion is remembered on what is the most important day of the church year. Our service explores the emotions of this holy day and highlights the depth of God’s love. Our evening worship features the stories of those who witnessed the events and the reading of Psalms in a powerful service

Easter Vigil, April 19, at 7:00 p.m.
In the ancient church, Vigil services would last all night waiting for the light of Easter. We remember that tradition in this service of water and fire that tells the story of God's salvation and transitions from darkness into light.

Easter Day, April 20, at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. at MLC, 6:00 p.m. at La Fuente Restaurant
We celebrate Christ's resurrection and the victory of God over death. The end of Holy Week marks the beginning of the seven weeks of Easter. Join us for morning worship at church at our normal times or grab dinner at La Fuente and worship across the street in the evening.
